The Second Edition of the International Conference on Innovative Applied Energy (IAPE’20)

Cambridge, United Kingdom from 15-16 September 2020

After the first edition of the International Conference on Innovative Applied Energy (IAPE) which has been held from 14-15 March, 2019, in the King’s Centre, Oxford,  United Kingdom, the second edition of the IAPE conference will be take place in Cambridge City, United Kingdom. Due to the Covid-19 countermeasures, the Cambridge hosting venue will be announced as soon as the UK government relaxes the confinement measures. Also, the hosting venue will be one of the well known Colleges of the University of Cambridge

Meanwhile, authors are able to participate virtually using an online virtual conference platform. This decision has been made to offer alternative way to allow researchers to share their scientific work and interact with collaborators. Indeed, the coronavirus pandemic have pushed us to rethink the concept of meetings entirely and propose the virtual conference approach to make the meeting more accessible to a wider set of researchers and reach a larger audience than a conventional meeting could. Participants will watch recorded talks ahead of time and then join in online conversations on the day of the conference. The virtual conference program will be announced before the conference dates and the online conference platform will be available for all registered authors and listeners.

The energy resources consumption has doubled since the beginning of the century and the demand growth with the fast development in industrial and telecommunication sectors. To respond to the rising demand on energy resources, new efficient infrastructures for production, storage, transport and use of energy are necessary. The Second Edition of the International Conference on Innovative Applied Energy (IAPE’20) aims to investigate innovation applications and last researches in the areas of energy production, alternative and renewable energy supply, energy savings analysis, optimization of energy processes and the environmental impacts of energy production.

It is our pleasure to welcome you to the second edition of the International Conference on Innovative Applied Energy (IAPE’20), which will take place in Cambridge, United Kingdom from 15-16 September, 2020. Also, and due to COVID-19, online Virtual Conference participants will be able to see and hear every paper and panel program. The IAPE international conference provides a forum for both researchers and industrial to present and share their latest findings in all aspects of applied energy. This provides a unique opportunity to investigate the intersections and the inter-play of the various approaches and solutions developed across this domain. The conference solicits contributions of abstracts, full and short papers that address the main applied energy topics.
