FSR Energy & Climate brings together the worlds of academia and practice. We carry out applied research, training courses and policy dialogue with the purpose of developing economically and socially sound energy regulation and policy in Europe and worldwide.
- Communications and Media
The FSR Communications & Media provides state-of-the-art training for practitioners, analytical and empirical research, and promotes informed discussions on key policy issues in the electronic communications, Internet and media sectors.
Combining high academic standards with an in-depth understanding of current regulatory issues and trade-offs, our training courses seek to build a unique regulatory culture and a wide networking capability across European companies and public institutions.
- Transport
The Transport Area of the Florence School of Regulation (FSR Transport) at the European University Institute is dedicated to policy dialogue, policy-relevant research, training, and networking in the area of transport regulation in Europe. It is concerned with the regulation of all modes of transport and a wide range of other topics related to digital and sustainable mobility.
- Water Policy & Regulation
The FSR Water Area is a unique environment gathering regulators, operators and academics with the goal of providing innovative thought, analysis, and discussion of EU water regulatory policies and improving our understanding of water governance.
Its core research focuses on economic regulation and governance in the water sector including pricing policies and benchmarking.
