7the Trade fair for heating, alternative sources of energy and AC
FOR THERM, an annual Czech trade fair focused on heating, ventilation and AC technologies and solutions, will take place in Prague from 20 to 24 September 2016. Due to its location, the event provides the opportunity for both domestic and foreign exhibitors to present their services and products within an international competition.

iSBE Forum of Young Researchers in Sustainable Building 2016 (YRSB16) will be held in Prague, Czech Republic, on 21 June 2016. The event will focus on actual PhD research development in the field of sustainable building. The mission of the conference is to bring together young doctoral researchers in sustainable building to share research outcomes, discuss with their collegues and get valuable feedback.

Investor Confidence Project (ICP) Europe is developing a suite of building energy renovation roadmaps - Energy Performance Protocols - that aim to reduce transaction costs by assembling existing standards and practices into a consistent and transparent process. These tools then enable a marketplace for building owners, project developers, utilities, public programmes and investors to trade in standardised energy efficiency projects.

On Thursday 22 October 2015, the European Commission, in its monthly package of infringement decisions, requested eleven Member States (Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Finland, Hungary, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Poland, Portugal, and Spain) to ensure the full transposition of the Energy Efficiency Directive (2012/27/EU).

The Pan-European Thermal Atlas (PETA) is an interactive map that shows data on the thermal resources available in any region as well as EU-wide thermal demand. PETA maps heat and cooling demand, the local density of both demands, available waste heat resources and the potential for renewable energy sources.
