Simply walking into other people's homes? That is exactly what everyone can do during the International Passive House Open Days. Residents of Passive House buildings will open their doors to visitors during this annual open days event. They invite them to experience the high levels of comfort and energy efficiency for themselves.   Feel the Passive House! This year the International Passive House Open Days will take place from 9th to 11th November.

On September 5, the city of Tampere was awarded a prize for its work in the STARDUST project to become carbon neutral by 2030. Organized by the Foundation Prospective & Innovation together with the European Commission and the China Centre for Urban Development, the awarding event took place during the Euro-China Green and Smart City Summit, which is part of the Smart City Expo China 2018 event held in Ningbo, China.

Since 1982, PLEA has organised conferences and events across the globe. The annual conference of PLEA is highly regarded, attracting academics and practicing architects in equal numbers. It is the first time that the PLEA conference comes to Hong Kong. The juxtaposition of Hong Kong’s compact and high-density living and scenic countryside makes it an intriguing case of urban sustainability and climate resilience.

The document provides a detailed description of the green urban interventions implemented by the project   URBAN GreenUP has released a Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) catalogue, which is publicly available on the project’s website. The catalogue aims at fostering the global uptake of the URBAN GreenUP approach by providing cities worldwide with robust indicators on how to embrace urban challenges using nature.

Mission Innovation has launched a new recognition programme Mission Innovation Champions to celebrate and support innovative individuals who are accelerating the clean energy revolution. The programme was launched at the occasion of the Third Mission Innovation Ministerial (MI-3) on 22-23 May 2018 at Malmö, Sweden, and is currently accepting registrations.
