Insufficient compliance in the issuing of Energy Performance Certificates (EPC) and poor quality building works erode trust in the EPC and jeopardise the achievement of energy efficiency targets. These were among the findings of the QUALICHeCK project, funded under the Intelligent Energy Europe (IEE) programme.

EMPOWERING is a project funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 programme which contributes to the shift of seven EU regions toward low-carbon society by enhancing the capacities of municipalities and regional representatives to shape integrated energy strategies and plans. The project contributes to bridge the gap of skills needed to plan energy measures in the new 2030 framework for Climate and Energy Policy in terms of GHG emission reduction, renewable energy and energy efficiency.

The Interreg Europe REBUS project (Renovation for Energy efficient BUildingS) aims to improve the capacity of public authorities in European regions to undertake efficient renovation works of their public building stock, thus saving energy and public resources. The huge potential for energy savings in the public building stock is hampered in each phase of the local authority energy renovation process: planning, implementing and monitoring. Refurbishment of the Public building stock towards nZEB
RePublic_ZEB, an Intelligent Energy Europe (IEE) project, was focused on the energy and CO₂ emissions associated with existing public buildings and their refurbishment towards nZEB, because of the huge potential for energy savings. Republic_ZEB spanned across the South-Eastern European region with eleven partners located in target countries and one outside.

SAVES2 is a H2020 project that builds on a previous IEE funded project, SAVES, that expanded the Student Switch Off campaign from the National Union of Students in the UK to 4 other EU countries.
The project commenced in May 2017 and will last for 42 months. National Union of Students (UK) is the lead organisation and the consortium incorporates 11 partners from 8 countries (Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Ireland, Lithuania, Romania, and the UK).
