This document on Romania’s national renovation strategy, elaborated by the Romania Green Building Council in the context of the BUILD UPON project, is the outcome of ten sessions of public consultation in 7 of Romania’s representative cities: Cluj, Iasi, Galati, Brasov, Craiova, Timisoara and Bucharest.

Demand Response in Blocks of Buildings (DR-BOB) is a Horizon 2020 project, co-funded by the European Union, which aims to demonstrate the economic and environmental benefits of demand response in blocks of buildings.   Blocks of buildings offer more flexibility in the timing of energy use, local energy generation and energy storage than single buildings. But a lack of suitable products and technologies make this problematic.
