HoHo Vienna is one of the tallest wooden buildings in the world and a lighthouse project for sustainable timber construction. Thanks to the level of thermal insulation, resource conservation, energy efficiency and sound insulation, it has been awarded with the certification LEED Gold and ÖGNB gold from the Austrian Society for Sustainable Buildings.

Energy Performance Certificate (EPCs) are one of the best available sources of information on Europe’s building stock, and if improved, can support the launch of a Renovation Wave in Europe.   The EPC is one of the EU’s main existing instruments to facilitate the long-term decarbonisation of the building stock; however, to exploit its full potential, we need to overcome some hurdles, such as inadequate data gathering, lack of compliance, low reliability, different definitions and calculation methods.

They feature a short talk by a Passive House expert from the iPHA network, followed by time for a discussion. Hosted via GoToMeeting, the meet ups provide the international Passive House community with a place to catch up during this increased time in home office.
