CESTEC is the regional energy agency of Lombardia (IT) with an extensive experiences in Energy efficiency and Energy Savings in buildings. Since 2007 Cestec manage on behalf of regional government two administrative and technical processes concerning the energy efficiency and the use of RES in buildings: CENED- Energy certification of buildings, complying with Directive 2002/91/EC (today we count more than 300.000 building certified) and CURIT- the Regional System for maintenance and inspection of heating/cooling systems. Apart, Cestec’s mission is the dissemination of technological innovation and the results of research, technical market assistance, technological transfer and services for upgrading small enterprises and promoting the rational use of energy and environmental sustainability.
