Polish Association of Sanitary Engineers and Technicians
Polish Association of Sanitary Engineers and Tehcników continues in the tradition of many generations of engineers and technicians focused initially formed in 1919, National Union of Polish Gas Industry. Since then, the organization included coverage increasing group of specialists sanitary passing numerous transformations and taking names in succession: in 1922 - Association of Gas Industry, Water and Sanitary Engineers, since 1952 - Scientific and Technical Association of Sanitary Engineers, of Heating, Gas and Green areas, since 1957 - Polish Association of Engineers Sanitary Engineers and Technicians.
It is an independent and voluntary organization of science and technology, bringing together natural and legal persons, interested in professional and social activities in the fields of gas, water and sewage systems, water and wastewater technology, heating, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, clean cities and settlements and waste management , balneotechniki, pralnicta, rural sanitation, protection of water, air and soil, underground urban planning and related fields.
The Association is a non-governmental organization, is an environmentally friendly and its activities places particular emphasis on the development and promotion of methods and devices of sanitary engineering and environmental engineering, for the protection of the environment.
Association symbols are standard and organizational badge. Its business office is based on the work of its members.
People and organizations for special deserved PZiTS are honored by giving gold or silver badges and medals and diplomas.
