The fifth edition of the EeB PPP Project Review has been published. This yearly publication presents the progress of 110 co-funded projects within the EeB PPP under the 7th Framework Programme (FP7) for 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 and 17 new co-funded projects under the Horizon 2020 programme for 2014.

The project aims to revolutionise construction practices by introducing a new set of breakthrough technological advances for self-inspection and quality assurance to the construction site that will be put into the hands of construction professionals to help meeting EU energy efficiency targets, new build standards and related policy goals.

A new book has been presented and seeks to take stock of the BIM with the help of some of the leading experts from all over Italy. Its aim consists in understanding what the BUILDING INFORMATION MODELING is, how it can be applied, which advantages it gives, what are its interactions with other advanced tools. The book was produced with the support of STR, an established brand for over 30 years in the field of construction management software, recently joined the group TeamSystem.
