The detailed training material is split into ten different PowerPoint presentations available in Finnish, English and Russian. It is aimed at those already knowing something about construction. This guide/instruction manual, released by BUILD UP Skills Finland, summarises key practical instructions for energy efficient building methods for construction sites, featuring also illustrative drawings. The guide is primarily intended for purposes of further education for professional employees, but it is also useful for all operators in the construction industry. It can be used in introductory meetings for workers and sub-contractors.

STAVEDU commences the implementation of the Roadmap established under Pillar I of the Build Up Skills project for Slovakia. The Roadmap identified key measures for setting up a national scheme and other measures for ensuring development of skills essential for the field of buildings to contribute to the fulfilment of the Europe 2020 targets.

LuxBuild2020 is the Luxembourg project of the European BUILD UP Skills initiative to train and qualify the blue collar workers of the construction sector in order to guarantee the execution of the 2020 goals in energy efficiency and renewable energies.   The actions of LuxBuild have been developed in the national roadmap developed under pillar I. FORCE is the second pillar of the BUILD UP Skills Latvia. The action aims at creating preconditions for overcoming barriers and identifying skills gaps in the various professions, in order to meet the 2020 targets in the building sector related to increased energy efficiency of buildings.

During BUILD UP Skills Pillar I, a “Roadmap for Training Workforce in Lithuanian Construction Sector in order to meet energy efficiency targets 2020” was introduced. The second pillar of BUILD UP Skills was initiated in July 2014 with the ENERGOTRAIN project – Improving competences and skills of the building workforce in Lithuania related to nearly zero energy buildings.

I-TOWN is a BUILD UP Skills Pillar II project aiming to create and update training programmes for skilled workers and artisans in the field of Energy Efficiency (EE) and Renewable Energy Sources in the building sector, to enhance competences and to generate high-quality skills to achieve the EU's goals of energy saving and environmental protection. In I-TOWN training courses will be designed balancing theory and practice, adopting the educational principle of Hands on Learning. TRAINBUD is the second pillar of the BUILD UP Skills Hungary (BUSH 2011-2013) project.
