Getting to Zero London Energy Transformation Initiative: Proposals For Energy Policy   This report, released by the London Energy Transformation Initiative (LETI), sets out four key proposals which will help all new buildings in London to operate at net zero carbon by 2030 and all existing buildings in the capital by 2050.

The benefits of the analysis at the settlement level arise not only from the larger scale compared to single buildings, but also, importantly, from looking at a system of houses with their interactions. This means, for instance, cost reduction through the deployment of renewable energy technologies at the settlement level instead of individually in each building.

In the ZERO-PLUS project report “Market analysis of trends in the construction of residential highly energy performing buildings” a significant amount of information on barriers and drivers for the construction of highly energy efficient buildings, and for renovation programmes at the district or settlement level that improve the energy efficiency of existing buildings has been collected and reported.

The training course for Municipalities’ technicians took place in three sessions;  28 February, 14 March and 25 April 2017.   The capacity building course has had the objective of transmitting the knowledge to promote the design of nZEB and enable the implementation of the Directive of Energy Efficiency in Buildings of the municipalities in Spain.    Three sessions: 1. Affordable and adaptable public buildings through energy efficient retrofitting. 28 February 2017
