The primary goal of the conference is to promote research and developmental activities in Environmental Science and Development. Another goal is to promote scientific information interchange between researchers, developers, engineers, students, and practitioners working in Paris and abroad. The conference will be held every year to make it an ideal platform for people to share views and experiences in Environmental Science and Development and related areas.

Energy efficiency topics of the 2019 call of Horizon 2020 Societal Challenge 3 – Clean, Secure and Efficient Energy – will be presented in a series of workshops organised by EASME throughout the day.

The 8th ECTP Conference took place at the Centre for Fine Arts in Brussels on November 13-14, 2018 (cf. the conference programme).
More than 170 stakeholders from the whole construction value-chain and representatives of the European Commission (see list here) shared their experience and discussed how the EU construction industry is shaping a high-tech Sustainable Built Environment.

The SET Plan promotes cooperation amongst EU countries, companies, research institutions and the EU itself. It has confirmed its role as a platform for knowledge exchange and for partnership creation, evolving and adapting to address low-carbon technologies holistically. Through this process, it has put forward a specific vision for each technology area through setting ambitious targets to be reached in the next decade(s) to place Europe at the forefront of the next generation of low-carbon energy technologies and of energy efficiency.

The H2020 MORE-CONNECT project “Development and advanced prefabrication of innovative, multifunctional building envelope elements for Modular Retrofitting and smart Connections”
has been successfully completed. All the project objectives have been completed before the official closing day of the project (end of November 2018), and are ready to be presented during the international SBE19 NL conference Retrofit Europe.

EMR2018 will bring together researchers and professionals from a broad set of science and engineering disciplines with the aim of sharing on the latest developments and advances in materials and processes involved in the energy generation, transmission-distribution and storage. The European Energy Efficiency Conference 2019 will take place from 27 February to 1 March 2019 in the context of the annual World Sustainable Energy Days (WSED) conference.
