EIT InnoEnergy: pioneering change in sustainable energy EIT Inno Energy was designated as a Knowledge and Innovation Community (Innovation Community) by the EIT's Governing Board on 16 December 2009 in Budapest. The priority area which this Innovation Community addresses is sustainable energy.   Mission

Several countries and local authorities have introduced innovative policies and programmes to stimulate deep renovation and reduce the CO2 emissions of the building sector, yet a broad dissemination and application of these policies are not taking place. The exchange of information and experiences across regions is much lower than what would be desirable.

EU Industry Days 2019 will focus on key industrial challenges such as sustainability, digitalisation, investment and globalisation. The event, on 5-6 February, will demonstrate how EU industrial policy benefits European citizens and provide input for future policy making.   EU Industry Days will gather more than 1000 participants from across Europe and beyond, including stakeholders representing industry, trade unions, national and regional authorities, and civil society.

The 8th ECTP Conference took place at the Centre for Fine Arts in Brussels on November 13-14, 2018 (cf. the conference programme).   More than 170 stakeholders from the whole construction value-chain and representatives of the European Commission (see list here) shared their experience and discussed how the EU construction industry is shaping a high-tech Sustainable Built Environment.
