After nearly two years of collaboration between ten partners from Spain, Croatia, Poland and the Netherlands, the FosterREG project is coming to an end.    FosterREG is a European Horizon 2020 project aimed at enhancing the capacity of public authorities to plan, finance and manage integrated urban regeneration for sustainable energy uptake.

Case di Luce is an example of sustainable urban regeneration in a densely urbanized area. The site, located in the town of Bisceglie Italy, was a former industrial site that was not in use. All old building structures were demolished and the area cleaned up in order to give way to innovative energy efficiency constructions. Case di Luce is exactly that.  The building features low carbon design which leverages seasonal variations of the solar path in order to optimise the comfort of its tenants.
