The Cities Energy Saving Sprint has emerged as an important campaign in the last year as it allows to mobilise and empower cities in their effort towards climate change and to implement energy saving measures. The city of Cesena was one of the participant in this campaign and it also engaged its citizens, raise awareness and make them protagonists of the energy transition.

Among the most impactful measures developed by the city, it has been highlighted the importance of reducing energy firstly in public buildings, then also to private buildings and households. New systems have been installed in public buildings (e.g. maintenance and renovation project is ongoing) and communication campaigns have been launched to engage citizens and young people (e.g. in schools).
