One of main goals of the Sophia project is to make some of the existing top-class PV Research Infrastructures available for the benefit of the whole European photovoltaic community.
The project provides European researchers and companies with the opportunity to develop their own research projects through the Transnational Access (TA) to the Sophia consortium's Research Infrastructures (RI) – free-of-charge and supported by the European Commission.
KUBIK by Tecnalia is one of the Research Infrastructures that participates in the SOPHIA project.
You may have access to KUBIK to perform activities on solar photovoltaic energy such as:
• The assessment of cells, modules and systems
• The performance evaluation of modules and systems, including CPV and BIPV
The free-of-charge access could include transport, accommodation, RI access, technical assessment… (to be agreed on and specified between the parties) according to the peculiarities of each activity. Only installation costs are not included.
The last SOPHIA's open call to access KUBIK is open until September 30th, 2014. SOPHIA project covers activities in KUBIK until 31st of January 2015.
Applications for testing PV solutions should be done through the online submission tool on project website (http://www.sophia-ri.eu) by filling a form describing your proposal.
A description of Kubik by Tecnalia and services provided are included in the attached document below and also available here.
