Thermal envelope

Exterior wall: The building envelope is carried out with a EIFS external thermal insulation system of 10 cm thick mineral wool insulation with a U value of the complete system of 0.230 W/m2K.
U-value = 0.23 W/(m2K)

Basement floor / floor slab: The ground floor slab, for thermal purposes, is an exterior floor with 10 cm thick mineral wool insulation on a reticular slab and a U value of the complete system of 0.401 W/m2K.
U-value = 0.401 W/(m2K)

Frame: Passivhaus certified PVC carpentry with low emission double glazing and argon gas chamber.
Uf = 1.01 W/m2K ; Ug = 1.04 W/m2K ; g = 0.37 ; Warm-edge spacer psi= 0.05 W/mK.
The windows and balcony doors have external mobile shading in all orientations by means of motorised blinds, whose blind boxes are high-performance, insulated and airtight. This option allows you to maximise solar gains in winter and control radiation in the warmer months.

Mechanical systems

Ventilation: The homes have a highly efficient individual dual-flow ventilation system with heat recovery
These are Passivhaus certified heat recovery units with an efficiency of 84% and a very low electricity consumption of 0.31 Wh/m3.
Dual-flow mechanical ventilation guarantees exceptional air quality 24 hours a day. The levels of CO2 and pollutants are lower than those that can be found in conventional homes, while the air filters incorporated in the heat recovery unit prevent the entry of harmful elements such as mites, pollution and pollen.

Heating installation: For hot/cold air conditioning, an individual direct expansion unit per home is used by means of a heat pump and distribution through high-efficiency air ducts COP: 2.6 and EER: 3.9.
