ENERHAT (Energy Housing Assessment Tool) is an application that enables tenants, owners and real estate agents to obtain information on energy labels and the state of conservation of residential buildings, to compare the energy efficiency of the dwellings with similar buildings, to assess the investment needed to carry out improvements and finally to apply for subsidies to undertake the reform.

The 7th edition of the EeB PPP Project Review has been published. This yearly publication presents the progress of a portfolio of 168 European research projects aiming at developing new technologies for energy efficient buildings. 110 projects are co-funded within the EeB PPP under the 7th Framework Programme (FP7) from 2010 to 2013 and 58 projects are co-funded under the Horizon 2020 programme between 2014 and 2017.

It is estimated that more than 70% of the detached single-family houses in Poland (3.6 million) have no, or inadequate, thermal insulation. Heating technology is outdated and the most frequently used fuel is coal, burned in old coal-fired boilers, largely contributing to air pollution. Only 1% of all houses in Poland can be considered as energy efficient and were mainly built in the last few years.

The Report "Understanding user needs" is an analytic report based on a survey of 1500+ participants from Bulgaria, Poland and Portugal.
The iBRoad project aims to eliminate barriers to deep renovation by developing an Individual Building Renovation Roadmap for single-family houses. The tool provides a customised renovation plan over a long-term period (10-20 years), which considers the occupants’ needs and specific situations.

On June 7 the event Energy Efficient Buildings – Plan. Invest. Renovate!, final conference of the EU-funded project EmBuild took place in Belgrade.At the event, the Navigator, a comprehensive online guidance tool providing practitioners in Europe with practical instructions on how to design and implement a renovation strategy for buildings, was launched.
