The project SOWA Piecewska consisted of refurbishing the public lighting along the street Piecewska in Gdansk (Illuminated area: 19,130 m²). Due to new investments in this district of the city and the installation of a new tram line, an upgrade of the public lighting system was needed. The project included the replacement of the sodium lamps with LEDs and the modernisation of the infrastructure.The City of Gdańsk obtained a subsidy for this project and the Regional Fund for Environmental Protection covered 45% of the investment.

With a population slightly below 1,000 inhabitants, the municipality of Cabanillas decided to evaluate an energy efficiency project with its streetlighting. The main objective was the improvement of the physical state and energy efficiency of the streetlight system as well as maintaining or increasing the quality of the service. The municipality was interested in conducting this project with an EPC and an open public tender was published for ESCOs to submit their offers.

The street lighting infrastructure in Kilkenny County was established during the past 60-70 years. The area selected for this project was a representative sample of the 9,800 lamps throughout the county. Street lighting represents approximately 55% of the municipality’s electricity consumption. The light quality was variable and unsatisfactory. The cost of the upgrades was traditionally the barrier to change.

The street lighting system of the municipality of Antiesenhofen was quite old (partly from the 60s) and represented a large percentage of the municipality's electricity consumption. The main objective of the project was to improve the physical state and energy efficiency of the street lighting system without compromising service quality. The municipality was interested in using an EPC (energy performance contracting) model for this project, 4 ESCOs were asked to submit an offer. The municipality wanted to limit the amount of digging and excavation work done during the project.

This supermarket which has approximately 1,200 m2 dedicated to the sales area is located in a residential zone close to the centre of Modena. The building underwent renovation during the summer 2016 before reopening in September. Around 50 workers were onsite per day during the 14 weeks the works lasted. The total requalification cost (supermarket and gallery) was 2.5 M €.
