Residential Building Certifiers

Member States generally differentiate between residential and non-residential building certifiers. The links provided in the Schemes Content section provide information on various training courses across the EU related to residential building certifiers. Some Member States require special training before a qualified expert can become accredited, while for others special training is optional. In both cases, there is usually an exam before accreditation is granted. Background:

The Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) is a state institution subordinated to the Ministry of Economics of the Republic of Latvia. Operating since 1993 as the Latvian Development Agency, it was reorganised into the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia in 2003.
