DECRETO DEL PRESIDENTE DELLA REPUBBLICA 26 agosto 1993, n. 412.

 

As part of the requirements and procedures introduced by Law N. 10, the decree n. 412 regulates and details the design, installation, operation and maintenance of heating systems in buildings in order to limit the consumption of energy. Among other innovations, the decree divided the country into 9 climatic zones according to the “degree-days”, established maximum limits for energy needs in buildings, ambient temperature as a function of the intended use, and performance requirements for thermal systems. Operation and maintenance regulations are also defined, as well as the rules for thermal systems inspections.
