The Hellenic Passive House Institute and its Cyprus office  organise the 1st Mediterranean Course and a Certification Exam for Passive House Designers, in Nicosia, Cyprus, in January 2017.   The course (duration: 70 hours), will be held by certified trainers  at the ETEK (Technical Chamber of Cyprus) facilities in Nicosia, with the authorisation of the Passive House Institute (PHI).

Design of a monitoring framework for performance assessment during operation (D7.1) | ZERO-PLUS project   The monitoring and evaluation of the four settlements’ (Cyprus, France, Italy and the UK) performance is an essential part of the ZERO-PLUS project. To this end a monitoring and performance analysis platform is created.

Families across Europe are taking steps that will reduce their energy consumption by more than 3,000,000 kWh thanks to the work of the EU funded FIESTA project.   The project, coordinated by Area Science Park Trieste, has carried out more than 1,022 energy audits with families in five European countries: Bulgaria, Cyprus, Hungary, Italy and Spain. The project includes five technical partners (one for each participating country) and 14 cities.

Quantifying the behavioural change and energy savings of students living in dormitory buildings - Year 2 (SAVES project)   The Student Switch Off (SSO) campaign is an inter-dormitory energy-saving competition that has been running in the United Kingdom since 2006, and has been adapted to run in Lithuania, Greece, Sweden and Cyprus over the academic years 2014-15 and 2015-16; it aims to reach up to 49,942 students in total over the two years. The campaign is then meant to run on a self-funded basis in subsequent years.
