Concept and objectives:   "Advanced Manufacturing has been highlighted by the EU as one of the key enablers to support and promotion of business research and innovation in key enabling technologies.   Therefore, a number of objectives, aligned with pursuing the large scale targets, have been set for advanced manufacturing through four pillars: technology, economic, social and environment.

Concept:   The computer-controlled sequential layering of materials to create three-dimensional shapes, otherwise known as 3D printing, was first developed in the 1980s. It is now used in a wide range of applications – from aerospace engineering to dental applications.   3D printing systems have also been developed for the construction industry but there are still many challenges and limitations to overcome such as scalability and working at heights.

Concept:    Within the C3PO project (Co-creation 3D printing with companies) an acceleration of the 3D printing technology in Flanders is aimed for.   With financial support from both the province Antwerp and Europe, during the upcoming years, 1.6 mio euro will be used to foresee among others a real 3D printer at Kamp C in Westerlo.

Buildings account for around 40% of energy consumption and 36% of CO2 emissions in the European Union.   Curtains walls, associated with modern architecture and large office building stock, are often criticized for their limited insulation properties. Existing buildings, including historical ones, are responsible for up to 60% energy losses through the envelope.

  Žiadosti o poukážky z projektu Zelená domácnostiam II bude možné znovu podávať od februára 2021. Na inštaláciu zariadení na využívanie obnoviteľných zdrojov energie budú mať domácnosti naďalej päť mesiacov.   „Sme radi, že aj napriek zložitej situácii záujem o túto formu podpory pretrváva, a preto dopĺňame do zásobníkov 10,8 milióna €, čo sú všetky voľné prostriedky, ktoré sú momentálne v projekte k dispozícii.

A vártnál jóval több hazai lakóépületben végeztek energiahatékonysági felújítást az elmúlt öt évben, de ezek a beruházások jellemzően részlegesek voltak, energetikai tervezés nélkül történtek, valószínűleg ezért nem eredményeztek említésre méltó energiamegtakarítást –   mondta a Magyar Energiahatékonysági Intézet (MEHI) igazgatója.
