The international conference “Energy Performance Contracting for Public Buildings” will take place on 15 November 2016 in Esslingen am Neckar, Germany. Representatives of public authorities, national and regional decision makers, organisations, municipalities, facilitators, interested Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), contractors, and other stakeholders are invited to delve into different aspects of Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) and learn more from speakers with perspectives in various EPC business models.

The new Horizon 2020 project “guarantEE” is promoting and further developing Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) in the building sector in 14 European countries (Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Lithuania, Netherlands, Norway, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain) in the years 2016-19.

Die deutsche Energieagentur dena hat Ihren Leitfaden zum Thema Energiespar-Contracting überarbeitet. Die Neuauflage beinhaltet aktuelle Entwicklungen und Erfahrungen aus realisierten Contractingprojekten sowie praxisnahe Anwendertipps. Dabei enthalten sind auch Hinweise zur Umsetzung von Wärmeschutzmaßnahmen innerhalb von Contractingprojekten. Neu ist auch ein einstufiges Verfahren für Schulen oder kleine Verwaltungsgebäude.

The NeZeR project promotes the implementation and smart integration of Nearly Zero Energy Building Renovation (NZEBR) measures and the deployment of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) in the European renovation market. NeZeR also aims to secure the impact of the project activities and results during and beyond its duration. This will be facilitated by creating national clusters consisting of the most relevant stakeholders that can secure the long term implementation of Nearly Zero Energy Building Renovation (NZEBR) and utilization of Renewable Energy Sources (RES).
