The Royal Bank of Scotland has designed an energy audit and loan funding support to help small and medium-sized businesses in the UK reduce their energy usage, energy costs and carbon emissions.
Eligible for funding is any SME in the UK.
Eligible costs will be identified by the Energy Audit. Typically, lighting, heating, cooling, refrigeration, building fabric, plant and equipment, and identifying ways to potentially create energy through solar, wind and biomass are included.

Ecmk runs Accreditation Schemes for Energy Assessors wishing to produce Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), Display Energy Certificates (DECs), or Air-Conditioning Reports.
Offered training programmes are approved by the Awarding Body for the Built Environment (ABBE) and provide candidates with the knowledge, technical and professional skills required of an Energy Assessor. Each candidate's competence is then formally assessed to ensure that they meet the relevant National Occupational Standard (NOS).
