The 2016 Behavior, Energy & Climate Change Conference (BECC 2016) will take place in Baltimore, Maryland, U.S.A. on 20 -22 October 2016. BECC is an international conference focused on understanding human behaviour and decision making to accelerate the transition to an energy-efficient and low-carbon future. BECC is currently in its tenth year and is associated with a growing set of allied conferences in Europe and Asia.
The BECC 2016 programme will include more than 40 plenary and topic sessions showcasing over 150 presenters selected through a competitive abstract process or invited by the organising committee, ensuring state-of-the-art information. There will also be poster presentations, workshops, and the traditional fun film festival.
The conference aim to provide information on ways to:
- find real energy savings that will benefit the economy, security, and the environment;
- accelerate climate-friendly innovation via appealing user-focused design, faster diffusion, and better management practices;
- increase the benefits and decrease the costs of energy-oriented policies and programmes;
- improve the analytic models that guide our vision.
